With more than ten years of teaching experience, I have designed and led large-enrollment courses—often exceeding 100 students per section—without teaching assistants, while providing mentorship to students across different stages of their academic journey. Recognized with the Kinslow Award for Excellence in Teaching, I bring the same dedication to the classroom that guides my research. By examining how policy, social status, and economic shocks shape family health, my research enriches my teaching by linking economic theory to pressing real-world issues.
